We are Shepards

Every Muslim should realize that Allah has appointed him as a shepherd and that Allah will ask him about this trust that He has given to him. If he has fulfilled it in the best possible way and has been sincere, then praise be to Allah, but if it is otherwise then he has no one to blame but himself.

Allah says (interpretation of the meaning):

“O you who believe! Ward off yourselves and your families against a Fire (Hell) whose fuel is men and stones”

[al-Tahreem 66:6]
